Calling All Lawyers! Election Protection Needs You On Election Day

The NAACP Legal Defense Fund’s Black Voters on the Rise and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law are seeking lawyers, paralegals, and law graduates/students in Alabama who can protect access to the franchise on Election Day, November 5.

Command Center Volunteers

Command Center volunteers to provide rapid response support to the Alabama Election Protection Command Center, troubleshooting access issues and analyzing reports to identify concerning trends. They also support any necessary litigation. Volunteers are trained and can monitor incoming issues virtually from their home or offices.

Legal Roving Monitors

Attorneys and students can volunteer as Legal Roving Monitors. Monitors will meet Alabama’s essential voting rights needs by providing legal capacity to respond to urgent voting rights and election issues and make significant headway in evaluation polling locations in Alabama.
